Private dairy manufacturer Hochwald Foods pays the highest standard milk price in the Netherlands for August, according to data from DCA Market Intelligence. The company is a subsidiary of cooperative Hochwald in Germany and is located in Bolsward.
Compared to the previous month, Hochwald pays €1.00 per 100 kilograms more for August, resulting in a standard milk price of €48.90. This is 20 cents more than the two best-paying companies so far, DOC Cheese and Vreugdenhil Dairy Foods. Suppliers of Hochwald can receive a maximum milk price of €51.20 per 100 kilograms, including premiums for grazing and sustainability.
Hochwald Foods Bolsward mainly produces sweetened condensed milk and canned cream. It also produces dairy products for Hochwald Germany. Earlier this year, the company received approval to expand the location with an additional production hall.
