Arla Foods acquire whey division from Volac

Arla Foods Ingredients is acquiring Volac’s Whey Nutrition business, including its facility in Wales. This move is subject to regulatory approval and is expected to be completed later this year.

The acquisition will enhance Arla Foods Ingredients' product offering in sports nutrition, health, and food sectors, with the Felinfach site becoming a global production hub. For Volac, this represents a strategic step forward, allowing them to focus on developing their remaining Animal Nutrition Business.
