Hochwald Foods increases the Dutch base September milk price to well above €50 per 100 kilograms. This means the company is making an above-average payment for this month.
According to calculations by DCA Market Intelligence, Hochwald's base milk price amounts to €50.41 per 100 kilograms, which is €1.51 more than the advance price set for August. With this price, the company still falls behind Vreugdenhil and A-ware, but surpasses the price set by FrieslandCampina.
Suppliers of the Frisian company can receive a maximum of €53.11 per 100 kilograms, with an annual supply of 1 million kilograms, after deduction of the contribution to ZuivelNL and excluding VAT. Hochwald Foods is a subsidiary of the German dairy cooperative Hochwald and is located in Bolsward.
